Gyrinocheilidae

Gyrinocheilidae, or Algae Eaters, has a single genus Gyrinocheilus in the order Cypriniformes. They are a family of small Southeast Asian Cypriniform fish that live in fast-flowing freshwater mountain streams. They hold on to fixed objects using a sucker-like mouth. There are 3 known species in this family.
